About LearnDjango

LearnDjango is a project by Will Vincent, a former Django Software Foundation Board Member and the author of three books on Django. He hosts the Django Chat podcast and writes the weekly Django News newsletter. Previously he worked at multiple early-stage startups including Quizlet and taught computer science at Williams College.

Foundation Work

I am a Django Individual Member and previously served as a Board Member of the Django Software Foundation, the non-profit foundation that runs Django.
Conference Talks

I speak regularly at conferences on Django, most notably DjangoCon US in 2024, 2022, 2019, and 2018. I have also given multiple presentations at the Django Boston meetup in 2024, 2019 and 2018.
Open Source

I maintain several popular Django open-source packages, including the Awesome Django repo and the starter project DjangoX.
